Although they appreciate we have not been able to run an engagement event as planned, this is not a mandatory requirement of the PAC process. However, it is still available if the community council / members of the public have queries via email on or

The Vale would be happy to accept responses to the PAC from individual members of the Community Council if it would be difficult to formulate a grouped response under the current circumstances. Furthermore, they will also extend the consultation period to 6th April 2020 to allow for an extra week for people to access the consultation material online and submit representations on the proposal.

Certification and approval of annual accounts for 2019-20

Regulation 15(1) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that Responsible Financial Officer of Colwinston Community Council to sign and date the statement of accounts, and certify that it presents fairly the financial position of Colwinston Community Council at the end of the year and the Council’s income and expenditure for the year. The Regulations required that this be completed by 30 June 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Colwinston Community Council has not met to approve the accounts.
