Remembrance Sunday

Over 100 villagers attended this years Commemoration on Sunday 1th November. Wreaths were laid at the Memorial on the Village Green by the Community Council, relatives of those commemorated who fell in World War 2, as well as local village organisations. The service which commenced at the War Memorial was conducted by Rev. Alan Kettle and this was followed by the service in the church. On conclusion, tea and coffee was served. The Church Bell was tolled 100 times to mark the Centenary of Armistice Day.
