Update on Planning Matters

Following the Community Council's submissions to the Planning Department, both Welsh Water and Natural Resources Wales have become involved concerning the issues of surface water, flooding and sewerage. This means that the Vale Planners have had to delay any consideration of the Redrow proposals until Redrow have submitted additional reports requested by Welsh Water and NRW.
It is not known when these reports will be available but the Vale Planning Department will not take any further action until the additional reports have been submitted. The Community Council will be monitoring the situation and discussions are taking place directly with DCWW and NRW. Community Councillors will be happy to update individuals on progress but will not be publishing the additional information at this stage for obvious reasons!!
