Village WW2 Memorial nears completion

The Community Council are now well advanced with the plans fpr a War memorial to recognise the return of the village men at the end of WW1 and to recognise the fallen from the village during WW2.
Planning permission is being sought for the Memorial to be located on the Village Green where it is hoped for it to be ready for Sunday 9th November this year. All villagers are to be invited to attend the Dedication ceremony and further information will be published later this month.
