Proposal for 25 new houses in Colwinston
-- A public consultation has opened on the Vale of Glamorgan's Deposit Replacement Local Development Plan (Deposit RLDP).

*** The local authority is currently consulting on whether this site in Colwinston should be considered for inclusion in the LDP. If it is included a planning application for development could be submitted at some future time. ***

The plan includes a proposal to build 25 new houses in Colwinston on land to the east of Heol Cae Pwll.
In council documents the area is referred to as "Land to the East of Colwinston" (candidate site reference 4069) and is promoted as an affordable housing-led site for 25 dwellings, with a policy requirement for at least 50% of these to be classed as affordable.
