2023. Good progress has been made by the Project Group on developing the wildflower meadow. The CC has twice applied for TWIG funding for the woodland but has been unsuccessful in our applications. The Project Group however has been successful in obtaining a Stronger Communities Grant from the Vale for the next year

 

2024 The Project Group have submitted plans to construct a footbridge on the western side of the road along the hedge line which should be in place by next Easter. The CC have arranged for a further number of unsafe trees to be removed from the woodland and are on discussion over formal status of the site.  Some Section 106 money has been allocated to install a bench near the pond.
