Remembering Carl Hadley

Carl joined the Council in 2020 and was happily involved in a range of issues on our behalf: tackling Openreach on the introduction of fibre to the village, seeking solutions to mobile phone signal strength and latterly was directly involved in the Old Ford project offering technical solutions to the many problems that have arisen in recent years. His experience as a top manager in businesses in Wales substantially helped our community. Carl had a hands-on approach to everything that he encountered. His complete personal rebuilding of his well-loved Land Rover was just one example of his knowledge and practical skills. He could easily match Car SOS with his technical abilities! His knowledge of business and government provided great strength for the Council on him being able to successfully challenge other public bodies on what legislation required from them. These activities were valuable for our village and his passing will leave us the poorer. RIP Carl.
